IR's Collaboration/Collage Issue ("Azimuth")
A few years ago poet, artist and editor Christopher Stackhouse and I began our collaboration on an art-text project entitled Seismosis. In the fall of 2003, the Center for Book Arts in New York City published a selection in a limited, edition and we're still working on having the entire book appear. But from the time we completed the early drafts we've been publishing some of the texts and drawings here and there. One of my prose pieces, entitled "Azimuth," printed beside Christopher's original image, appears in the Indiana Review's current issue (27.1), "Collaboration/Collage." Christopher also has a short piece on process in the issue as well, and there are a number of marvelous collaborative projects in the issue. Unfortunately the work doesn't appear online, but the issue is available by direct order from IR, for $9!
